Investing in Jordan: Italian Companies at the ‘EU-Jordan Investment Conference’

(ANSA) - ROMA, 01 OTT - In a meeting with Ambassador Pier Luigi Zamporlini, the Jordanian Minister of Investment invited Italian companies to participate in the upcoming “EU-Jordan Investment Conference,” to be held on November 19 at the Dead Sea. The conference, which will be opened by King Abdullah II, represents an important opportunity for Italian companies to build new productive partnerships in Jordan, a country that is embarking on a promising path of reform and modernization, supported by growth that stood at 3% in the second quarter of 2026. As part of the conference, targeted B2B and G2B meetings will be organized to explore concrete projects and investments. The Minister of Investment, together with the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zeina Toukan, presented the conference in Italy during two missions to Rome and Milan, each of which was attended by more than 50 Italian companies and associations. The minister emphasized the strong demand in Jordan for Italian companies, technologies, and products, driven by the deep ties between the two countries, and highlighted that Jordan offers attractive investment opportunities, thanks in part to its geographic location at the crossroads of trade routes and its highly skilled workforce.
