Delaware celebrates the planting of its 75,000th tree in state parks, coinciding with the park system's 75th anniversary. This achievement contributes to a larger goal of planting one million trees by 2030. The initiative features diverse tree species, driven by the support of community volunteers. Notable trees like the American holly were chosen to improve environmental quality and provide inviting spaces for the public.
