Italy and Ukraine Together for Unbroken Kids

(ANSA) - ROMA, 15 SET - Carlo Formosa, Italy’s Ambassador to Ukraine, took part in the fourth meeting of the Unbroken Kids Committee, established through a charitable initiative by the State Polygraphic Institute and Mint to support children affected by the war in Ukraine. A great success for solidarity: 7,774 medals sold by the IPZS raised over 500,000 euros for Unbroken Kids’ activities. The Committee—whose members include Ukraine’s Ambassador to Italy, Ihor Brusylo, and IPZS President Pietro Di Paolantonio—approved the third and final installment today, thereby completing the disbursement of the entire amount raised. And those funds have already been transformed into concrete initiatives: among them, a modern X-ray diagnostic system is already operational at Saint Nicholas Hospital in Lviv, where Unbroken Kids assists young patients injured in the conflict. “Even today, Italian solidarity continues to translate into tools that help Ukrainian doctors and hospitals save the lives of the most vulnerable: children,” stated Ambassador Formosa.
