Sherman: Iran Talks Were 'Never Serious' Enough
Açıklama
Wendy Sherman, former Deputy Secretary of State in the Biden administration and lead US negotiator for the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, says diplomacy with Iran is "quite challenged" and argues recent negotiations were "never serious or as complex as they needed to be." Sherman says the US has done harm to Iran's regime, but warns military action alone will not stop Tehran from pursuing a nuclear weapon, saying "you can't bomb knowledge." She also calls Ukraine's Patriot missile production license "very positive news," while arguing Washington has not put enough pressure on Vladimir Putin to bring him to the negotiating table. She speaks with Joe Mathieu on the late edition of Bloomberg's "Balance of Power." (Source: Bloomberg)
