Vehari'de kadını kaçırıp toplu tecavüz iddiasıyla dört kişiye dava açıldı
Pencap eyaletinin Vehari ilçesine bağlı Gaggo Mandi polisi, salı günü dört şüpheli hakkında bir kadını kaçırma ve toplu tecavüz iddiasıyla dava kaydetti. Kayıt, olayın iddia edildiği tarihten dört ay sonra, eyalet polis şefinin talimatıyla yapıldı. Punjab genel müfettişinin emriyle görevlendirilen üst düzey bir yetkili olayla ilgili soruşturma yürüttü ve raporunda bölge polis müdür yardımcısı hakkında işlem yapılmasını önerdi. Davanın geç kaydedilmesi ve soruşturma sonucunda üst düzey bir polis yetkilisi hakkında işlem önerilmesi, yerel polis birimindeki gecikmenin idari denetim sürecini tetiklediğini gösteriyor.

Four booked for ‘abduction, gang rape’ of woman in Vehari
BAHAWALPUR: The Gaggo Mandi police in Vehari district on Tuesday registered an abduction and gang-rape case against four suspects on the order of provincial police chief, four months after they committed the alleged crime. On the orders of Punjab inspector general of police (IGP), a senior officer conducted a probe into the incident, recommending action against the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) concerned, the station house officer (SHO) of Burewala Saddar police, and other officials found guilty of negligence and inaction, resulting in prolonged delay in the FIR registration. In addition, the inquiry officer also summoned the negligent police officials – Burewala Circle DSP Rana Imran Tipu, former SHO Mahar Abbas, Sub-Inspector Jamil, and front desk staff – recommending departmental action against them for their negligence and lack of cooperation with the complainant.
