Ambassador Franchetti Pardo Meets with ISTAO Student Delegation in Warsaw

(ANSA) - ROMA, 09 LUG - The Italian Ambassador to Warsaw, Luca Franchetti Pardo, welcomed Mario Baldassarri, President of ISTAO – Istituto Adriano Olivetti, to the Embassy, accompanied by a delegation of participants and representatives from the Institute who were on a study visit to Poland organized with the Embassy’s support. During the study visit, the students had the opportunity to meet with leaders of the regional healthcare system, the national health fund, and Poland’s leading hospitals, providing a chance to discuss Poland’s economic and social development, the prospects for bilateral relations, and the main similarities and differences between the Italian and Polish systems, particularly in light of shared European challenges. The study tour, which took place in Warsaw and Kraków, included a series of meetings with institutions, academic organizations, and local stakeholders, aimed at deepening understanding of the Polish model and fostering the exchange of experiences and best practices. During the meeting with the students, the Ambassador emphasized the value of initiatives such as this one, which help strengthen mutual understanding between Italy and Poland and promote an ever-closer dialogue among experts, institutions, and new generations of professionals. Opportunities for international exchange and training are, in fact, a fundamental tool for sharing experiences, highlighting each country’s areas of excellence, and identifying common solutions to Europe’s major economic and social challenges.
