SK hynix weighs $12.1 billion special dividend, newspaper says

SK hynix is considering a special dividend of about 16 trillion won ($12 billion), funded by gains from selling its stake in Japanese memory chip maker Kioxia, South Korean newspaper Dong-A Ilbo reported on Monday. The newspaper said the company could unveil the plan alongside third-quarter earnings on Wednesday. SK hynix could not be reached for comment outside of normal business hours. (Reuters)
