The police have forwarded the case docket on Obuasi Senior High Technical School (SHTS) headmaster Zakaria Abdulai to the Attorney General for study and advice following an investigation into a rape complaint filed by a student. Bekwai Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Lloyd Baidoo, disclosed this on JoyNews’ Top Story on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. He said the Ashanti South Police Command had completed its investigation into the complaint and was awaiting further instructions from the Attorney General.
