Weija-Gbawe MP urges urgent repairs to Weija-Mallam highway stretch
Açıklama
The Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe, Jerry Ahmed Shaib, has appealed to the Minister of Roads and Highways, Governs Kwame Agbodza, to order urgent repairs to the Weija Junction-Mallam Overpass stretch of the Kasoa-Cape Coast Highway, citing worsening road conditions and severe traffic congestion. In a letter to the Minister, the MP expressed concern about extensive potholes along the stretch, which he said were causing significant delays and hardship for thousands of commuters who use the road daily. According to Mr Shaib, a journey that would ordinarily take about three minutes from Weija Junction to Mallam can now take more than two hours as motorists struggle to navigate the damaged sections.
